What is Bayern Ticket?
Bayern
Ticket is a travel ticket that allows you to travel unlimited rides in Bavaria
on Regional Trains, Buses and U-Bahns. You can check the map here. Currently,
there is only a 1-day pass and no multi-day option available.
It is
the best regional pass in Bavaria region. We have used it once during our trip
to Neuschwanstein Castle. This pass is best for group travel and I share with
you why. The first passenger pays 25 euro and additional 7 euro for every additional passenger.
You can travel using the pass for up to 5 adults in total.
Do note
that Munich Card, Munich Pass does not cover regional train ride. Read more about Munich card comparison here
For Single
tickets from Munich to Neuschwanstein Castle, it cost 32.30 euro. With that,
getting the Bayern Ticket for 1 person will save you some money. We did a day
trip to Neuschwanstein Castle with Bayern Ticket. Read our day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle here.
The regional ticket is available for Day or Night. Be sure to get the right one!
